How do you calculate the offer?

We move hundreds of guitars, pedals, amps, and more every month — so we know what this gear is really worth. Before we make any offer, we always check the current market to stay sharp. Tools like Reverb and the Vintage Guitar Price Guide help, but our own sales data is what really guides us. Based on all that, we typically offer 60–70% of the resale value for most guitars and basses, and 50–60% for amps, synths, pedals, and other gear.
