Is there any gear you don’t buy?

We’re always open to cool gear, but there are some categories we usually pass on:

• Large, low-value amps or keyboards

• Budget solid-state practice amps

• Cheap pedals, pedalboards, or power supplies (especially incomplete ones)

• Accessories like stands, tuners, cables, or loose cases/gig bags

• Orchestral, brass, or woodwind instruments

• DJ gear and lighting

• Most recording/pro audio gear (some exceptions)

• Instruments needing major repairs

• Entry-level gear with little resale value

If you’re unsure, just ask — we’ll let you know straight up.
